just travelling through the austrian alps with eurocity train from graz to zürich and the view is simply stunning. no trace of snow if any were, only peaks remained white. hence my plans to crack on with cross-country skiing is skipped yet another year, time for mountain excursions.

dachstein hides in a mass of welkin, mayhaps with a few more acres of snow. winter is surely not cometh.

after being grown up on máv and other eastern service lines really afraid of the itinerary with 2 changes, each taking 5mins gaps. well, öbb swiftly passed this test. high time för tågluffare, oder bahnrundfahrt!
